Wednesday 10.9.14 Part One - Melb-Syd-Santiago.

An early 5am start with a car arranged to take us to the airport.

Checked in then a nice healthy breaky in the Qantas Business Lounge.

Sucking it up in lounge at Tullamarine.

Business class on the first flight was amazing. Flight all good.

Departing Melb.

I was a little chuffed to see a pic out the window from in FRONT of an engine.

Breaky on the plane was pretty good too.

Bus from domestic to international was so easy straight on and only 7 passengers.

Then customs using our 'express' pass through. 

A look through duty free we each bought something (beauty products for Sue and a portable charger gadget for me), then off to the lounge for a quick drink before boarding call.

OMG business class on this plane is amazing so so roomy. Had the obligatory champagne to celebrate. Twas nice champagne too.

Pretty excited at this point.

Honestly I couldn't stretch long enough
to be anywhere near the seat in front.

A bit of turbulence for the first little while, and along the way.

Quickly into PJs (Qantas provided) and watching some New Tricks and Big Bang Theory.

Oh we also ordered breaky and lunch. Yep we get choices and pretty yummy ones too. Three breakies in the same day - which was NOT a 24 hour day. We flew for 60 minutes to Sydney, almost 15 hours to Santiago, plus time to board, land etc, and we arrived in Santiago an hour before we left Sydney. No need to stress how out of whack our brains and bodies are.

Unfortunately my computer didn't work on the plane, was trying very hard not to stress. Ended up it had somehow flattened it's battery...all good now.
